The Client Engine Install is a 4 to 6 week program where a consultant or coach builds one small digital product with Drew Laughlin, then connects it to a sales page, a thank-you page, 3 follow-up emails and one clear next step that points buyers to working with them. Every client also gets 90 days of async coaching and support from the kickoff call.
Most small products sell a little and then sit there. People buy, use it, and that's the end. A client engine fixes that by giving the product somewhere to go. Every buyer gets a clear invitation to the next step, which is hiring you.
The scope stays fixed on purpose. No 10-module course, no launching 5 things at once. Less wins more.
Who is the Client Engine Install for?
The Client Engine Install is for consultants and coaches who are good at the work and tired of finding clients one call at a time. It works best if you already have paying clients and know exactly what you help them with. It is not for anyone who wants a course to watch alone.
A good fit if you:
- Have worked with paying clients and get results for them
- Spend too many hours on free calls that go nowhere
- Know a lot and have never packaged it into something people can buy
- Would rather do one thing well than ten things halfway
Not a fit if you:
- Want a course to watch on your own time
- Want to launch 10 products at once
- Can't set aside about 3 to 5 hours a week for 4 to 6 weeks
- Haven't worked with any clients yet
What happens in each phase of the Client Engine Install?
The Client Engine Install runs 4 to 6 weeks in 4 phases: pick the product, build it, connect it to pages and emails, then launch it. The build phase takes 1 to 3 weeks depending on the size of the product. Each phase has clear jobs for you and for Drew, and a simple test for when it is done.
| Phase | What you do | What Drew does | Done when |
|---|---|---|---|
| Pick itWeek 1 | Fill out a short intake form. List your 5 best clients and what they struggled with before they hired you. | Runs a 90-minute kickoff call. Finds the first problem your best clients have, and picks the format and price with you. | You have one product idea, one format and one price, written in one sentence. |
| Build it1 to 3 weeks | Write or record the core content from the outline. | Outlines the product, hands you the templates, and reviews and edits your draft. | The product is finished and ready for someone to buy. Bigger products get extra weeks here. |
| Connect it1 week | Review the copy so it sounds like you. Connect your email and payment tools. | Drafts the sales page, thank-you page, 3 follow-up emails and the next-step line that points buyers to you. | A stranger could buy the product and get every email without you lifting a finger. |
| Launch it1 week | Send the launch emails and posts to the people who already know you. | Writes the launch emails with you, reads the first numbers, and finds what's leaking. | The product is launched, the numbers are reviewed, and one fix is made. |
How many calls are there, and what support do you get?
The Client Engine Install starts with a 90-minute kickoff call, then a 60-minute working call each week until your product launches, usually 4 to 6 calls in total. Every call is on video, so it works wherever you live. On top of the calls, you get 90 days of async coaching and support from your kickoff call, whether the build takes 4 weeks, 6 weeks or longer.
- Kickoff: one 90-minute call
- Every week until launch: one 60-minute working call
- 90 days of async coaching and support from your kickoff call
- Send your work by email or video message and get feedback within 2 business days
What do you need to bring to the Client Engine Install?
You need 3 things: expertise you've already used to get results for paying clients, some way to reach people who know you (any size works), and about 3 to 5 hours a week for 4 weeks on top of the calls. You do not need a product idea, a big audience or any tech skills.
- Expertise with a track record. You've helped real clients get a real result.
- A way to reach people. Past clients, a small email list, LinkedIn or your professional network all count.
- 3 to 5 hours a week. Plus the weekly call.
What do you leave the Client Engine Install with?
You leave with a finished small digital product, the pages and emails that sell it, and a clear path from a $27 buyer to a paying client. Everything is yours to keep and reuse.

- A sales page and a thank-you page
- 3 follow-up emails that go out on their own
- One next-step line that points every buyer to working with you
- A launch to your people, with the first numbers reviewed
- 90 days of async coaching and support from your kickoff call

Who is Drew Laughlin?
Drew Laughlin is a marketer with 27 years of experience who has sold more than 50,000 digital products to over 8,000 customers. He now helps consultants and coaches get better clients with small digital products.
For a long time, most of Drew's own products didn't point anywhere. People bought them, used them, and that was the end. The Client Engine Install is the fix he wishes he'd built years sooner.
Drew calls himself a loyal contrarian. He'll push back on the way everybody does it, and he'll be in your corner the whole time.
Questions people ask about the Client Engine Install
Do I need an email list or a big audience?
No. You need some way to reach people who already know you, like past clients, a small email list, LinkedIn connections or a professional network. The first launch goes to the people you already have. A bigger audience comes later.
Do I need to know what product to make before I start?
No. Picking the product is the whole job of week 1. You bring what you know and who you help best, and we find the first problem your best clients have before they would ever hire you.
Is the Client Engine Install a course?
No. There are no modules to watch alone. The Client Engine Install is live working calls plus feedback on your actual work, and you finish with a real product that is ready to sell.
Does Drew build the product for me?
It is done with you, not done for you. You bring the expertise and record or write the core content. Drew brings the structure, the outlines, the page and email templates, and the edits, and drafts the pages and emails for you to approve.
What tools do I need?
You need an email platform and a way to take payments. If you do not have them yet, we set you up during the connect phase. Any tool subscriptions are paid by you, separately from the Install price.
How long does the Client Engine Install take?
Most Installs take 4 to 6 weeks from kickoff to launch. The build phase is the part that varies, since a checklist comes together faster than a recorded workshop. However long the build takes, you get 90 days of async coaching and support from your kickoff call.
What if I fall behind?
The plan already allows for it. The build phase can stretch from 1 week to 3, and your 90 days of async support keep going while you catch up. Most people fall behind during the build, so the schedule makes room for that instead of pretending it never happens.
Why is the founders price so much lower?
The first 5 clients are founding clients. The program is new, and their feedback shapes how it runs for everyone after them, so they get the full program for $995. Once the 5 founding spots are filled, the price goes to $3,000.
